i play games

cranium. taboo. outburst. scrabble. trivial pursuit. balderdash.
i love board games, card games, party games.
but they can be a pain to store. several of the boxes have broken
. they're odd sizes and don't stack well.

i've been trying to come up with a new option - possibly sacrificing the boxes and storing them all together.
as i googled... i came across some interesting options for storing, displaying, decorating with and organizing my board games.

if you have lot of games that you frequently use as a family, store them in an elfa drawer system in
your living or play room. or get creative and stack them in display piles along with coffee table books.

decorate a child's room with the colorful boards. use shadow boxes to store the game pieces.
there's probably a way to keep the boards so you can still play with them.

organize your game boards and pieces in these plastic game saver boxes.
they're all the same length, so they'll stack nicely on a shelf in a closet.
labels make it easy to see which box holds which game.

  1. We love games in our family too! The boxes are all smooshed in a closet and they are hard to get to....usually a few fall on you because you are trying to get the one in the back corner of the closet! These are some fun suggestions!
