i swear the only reason i am even the slightest bit interested in potentially having children right now is because i can.NOT wait to throw my kid's birthday parties! {probably the wrong motivation, we know. this is why we're waiting}

the circus-theme might be my all-time favorite. especially for a little boy. i stumbled upon this new blog, for the love, and fell in love with her son's 1st birthday party. bonus, sarah was able to pull this all off on a $100 budget -- free big top cardboard boxes, decorated formula cans, dr. suess books turned pinwheels. you may not have a popcorn machine in the family, but you definitely steal some of her diy ideas from her post here!
