wedding wednesday: who's who

wedding-wednesday

that's right, it's back! thanks to a request from an anonymous commenter...

this week, i am talking about who's who in your wedding party; or if you have a small enough wedding -- who's who of your guests.

whenever i attend a wedding, i am always curious about the relationship between the bride and groom and their attendants. are they high school friends? sorority sisters? is a bridesmaid an ex- of the groom? (i know of some...)

i always think it's fun when the bride and groom include a short write up about each attendant and their relationship either on the program or in an out-of-town guest booklet. my suggestion -- keep it to th
ree to four sentences. one-two about how y'all know each other. one about what their friendship means to you. and one funny, totally random comment. this is where you can confess that she kissed the groom before you,the bride ever did.

if writing isn't your thing, why not keep it visual? how adorable are these programs from anna bond's wedding?? please check out here fabulous shop: rifle paper co. and blog.

and what about these clever illustrated programs?..

another super fun idea is to create a genealogy chart, like this one from melangerie on etsy.

  1. LOVE these ideas! Esp. the genealogy chart, but that may be just because it's my favorite color. :)
