it was a mellow weekend -- which i need to learn to enjoy more. friday was the hi-light, featuring tony's pizza (our favorite local, cheap byob establishment) and good conversation with friends.
after sleeping in on saturday, i started to tackle several "projects" that have been weighing down an imaginary list in my head. [one] making valentine's day cards. note to self and others: do not leave spray paint and envelopes in the driveway without telling your husband or anyone else that might come home. unless that is, tire marks are the look you are going for.

after the running over the valentine's incident, husband took me out for some orange cup and to replenish my envelope supply at paper arts. we also made a quick stop by little bean -- they will definitely dress my future children.

later husband took our niece to the 3d showing of avatar. i passed on the movie in order to start my 10 days for $10 yoga adventure. i really think i could get into yoga. the evening concluded with yummy steaks, this, and this (although i wanted to try this) -- and a bedtime showing of julie & julia. i loved it. husband couldn't stand meryl's voice as julia and subsequently fell asleep. ps: here's julie's real blog. anyone wanna turn moderneve into a movie? just kidding -- kinda.
sunday, after church, i faced the "projects" again. honestly, there's too many list and not enough done. they require their own post. a quick trip to michaels (with my 25% off everything coupon), proved to be less successful than i hoped. in fact, i fully intend on returning this - it doesn't work!
i am left feeling a little discouraged about my project progress (or lack-there-of)...
please tell me some of you can identify.
Liking the new format! You should bring back Wedding Wednesdays :) And have you ever posted pictures/descriptions of your wedding? That would be nice....
