my design hero: nathan turner

i love good design, but do not claim to be a designer.
i have no training in color theory and i am certain my furniture scale is all wrong.
however, i do know what i like. and i think that's a start.

and what i like is nathan turner.
his mix of classic and bohemian gives me goose bumps -- the good kind.
i've been in love with amanda peet's home for a long time, since the late domino (sigh...still).
honestly, everything about this home is ummm...let's see....perfect!

husband would never go for a pink couch, but what about that curio filled with books?..

the perfect spot for morning coffee and a quiet time.
i don't even drink coffee, but i might re-consider if i had this space.

if you want to know my style, see this picture. amazing.

and today i am swooning over this lovely beverly hills condo from nathan's website.

i can't keep my eyes off those yellow roses. they're like a drug.
i will most definitely dream about them tonight.

i am digging the photo/art wall behind the four-post bed.
considering this as an option in our future master.

does anyone else have the sudden urge to study something?
or eat chinese takeout?
