katie- i need design advice...i am loving this rug... http://www.westelm.com/products/andalusia-rug-r653/?pkey=crugs-flooring just painted our open kitchen/family room a light grey and a darker grey/brown- looks amazing with white, silvers, and espresso!! loving it, and wanting to do pops of yellow for accents and some funky navy v stripe pillows....would this rug (above) be TOO much or do you think it would tie it all together and be the big 'pattern' / wow statement for the room...
okay, so i tried the spin pins -- they work okay in my hair. i still need a couple extra bobbie pins to keep all of the hair up. but, they will be perfect to throw my hair back while at the pool, etc...
ashley -- i LOVE the rug! go for it! definitely incorporate the yellow. you need a warm color to balance out all the cool ones (grey, brown, silver, navy). send pictures!
So many comments today... 1) That new fan looks amazing. If it weren't so darn expensive, I would rush out to get one! Looks so cool. 2) Spin pins... explain please. Do they just hold your hair better? I made need some also. 3) I am going to need serious design advice too. Any ideas for a gender neutral baby room? I have a fabric I may use for bedding. I could email it to you. I'd love ideas of other fabrics or items for the room!
The spin pins grab a little section of hair each time you spin them into a bun. That makes it much more secure but you may need a bobby pin or two for the tail ends sticking out. I love em! Good for my heavy thick hair.
i'm using the spin pins today! they are great!
ReplyDeleteI also was wondering about the spin pins! Let me know how they are!
