weekend recap

are friday nights rough for anyone else? i always have a difficult time getting going [read: i can't get my act in gear until at least 8:30 pm]. around this time, husband and i finally ran out for dinner at a newly discovered seafood joint, the boiling crab. at 8:30 pm, we were quoted a wait. are you ready for this? three hours! i am sorry, but no place in garland, tx is worth waiting three hours for. we skipped over to fish city grill and called it a night.

an alarm-free saturday morning was quite possibly the hi-light of my week. add to that near-perfect 70 degree weather, and i'd say saturday was the definition of lovely. not to mention, i was magically transported to a parisian bakery, in honor of the most beautiful, little 1-year-old, raylee. erika, you HAVE to post pictures! saturday evening = round 2 at the boiling crab [you always want something you can't have]. this time, with more friends in tow, we got in. the verdict: delicious -- not worth the three-hour wait, but delicious, nonetheless.

sunday was typical. church. cleaning. finishing up some baby shower invitations [more to come on this]. and a little banana pudding with nila wafers -- yum!
